Dr. Parm Bisla
Chiropractor at Pain Free Family Chiropractic
Located in Salt Wellness Centre!
Dr. Bisla is a graduate of the University of Western States Chiropractic School and also has a Kinesiology degree from Simon Fraser University. He gained a passion for this profession after seeing his chiropractor for many sports injuries. He was tired of taking medication and not seeing any improvements. He believes that educating his patients is very important so they have a better understanding of what we are trying to accomplish.
From coaching to playing, he has been involved in sports his whole life. He also enjoys reading literature on exercise, nutrition, and new medical advances. If there is not an answer he knows, he will be more than happy to find it!
In order to get maximal gains from Chiropractic treatment, Dr. Bisla believes it is very important to get a comprehensive history from his patients. He works toward creating a relationship with his patients that is not focused merely on their current pain, but rather one that leads his patients on the path to a healthier lifestyle. He finds his role as a chiropractor very fulfilling and takes pride in helping his patients become pain-free. Dr. Bisla would love for you to visit him so he can establish a specific treatment plan for you!

“I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2008. I have been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2009. So far in the course of my career I have come across and treated a variety of different conditions including, but not limited to: Whiplash, Tension Headaches, Morton’s Neuroma, Prenatal, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel, Sciatica, Edema, Lumbago, Migraines. I believe that taking time to properly communicate the patients needs as well as building a trusting relationship with them is important to be able to create an effective treatment plan and help the patient recover quicker. I also advocate that pre and post assessments and prescribing proper home care are essential in achieving the desired outcome or goal for patients. Some of the techniques I prefer to use in my practice are: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy, Manual Lymph Drainage, Trigger Point Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Passive Stretching. Playing soccer, cycling, meditation, and music are all parts of my recreational life.“
Junior 'A' Hockey Team
The Surrey Eagles are a Junior ‘A’ Ice Hockey team based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Mainland Conference of the British Columbia Hockey League. They play their home games at South Surrey Arena.
The Surrey Eagles athletes and coaches enjoy the benefits of floatation therapy as it aids in recovery of sports-related injuries and accelerates the healing process. Floating takes the pressure of gravity off the joints and muscles so your body can enjoy a high state of physical relaxation.
They also utilize the Float Therapy sessions by using visualization as a way to train their mind for an upcoming game or to work through techniques they may be learning. The float tank is an optimal place to do this as it removes all external distractions. It provides an environment where true mental clarity can occur and an athlete can focus their full attention to their goals or an upcoming game.
The Salt Therapy ensures their immune systems are given an extra boost, keeping colds, flu and allergies at bay so they are on their Game.
Salt Wellness Centre is proud to be a sponsor for our local Junior A Hockey team.
